Privacy Policy

Glowpane collects no personal data. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not connect to the internet. Your progress is saved only on your device.

Who we are

Glowpane is published by the developer shown on Glowpane's App Store page. In this policy, "we" means that developer.

This policy covers the Glowpane app for iPhone and iPad, version 1.0, and any email you send to our support address.

What we collect

Nothing. Glowpane has no account and no sign-in. It never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts or photos, and we receive no information about you or the way you play.

The privacy manifest included in the app declares that no data is collected and that no tracking takes place.

No internet connection

Glowpane does not connect to the internet. Everything it needs, including its fonts and sounds, is built into the app, so it works fully offline.

What is saved on your device

To keep your place, Glowpane saves a few things in its own private storage on your device:

Your levels: which levels are unlocked and cleared, your best stars, and your best score and best time on each level.

Your daily puzzles: a log of up to 400 days of first solves, each with its time, mistakes and score; your best score and time for each date; how many daily rounds you have played; your best streak, your shields and the days they saved; and a copy of today's board.

Settings and reminders: whether sound is on, which chapters you have completed, and whether you have seen the rules and finished the guided first round.

None of this leaves your device. It is not sent to us or to anyone else.

Backups and deleting your data

Glowpane's saved progress is not included in iCloud or computer backups, so it cannot be restored from a backup or moved to a new device.

Deleting the app deletes everything it has saved. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so there is nothing more to delete.

No third parties, no tracking

Glowpane contains no advertising, no analytics and no third-party tracking code. It does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites.

We do not sell or share any data about you, because we have none.

Apple

Apple handles App Store downloads under its own privacy policy.

If you have turned on Share With App Developers in your device's settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage statistics with us. Glowpane adds nothing to this. You can turn it off at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

Children

Glowpane collects no personal information from anyone, children included. Parents can remove everything Glowpane has saved by deleting the app.

Emails to support

If you write to support@glowpane.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to reply to you. We do not share it, sell it or add you to any mailing list.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Glowpane changes anything described here, for example by adding advertising or a purchase, we will update this policy before that version is released. The new policy will be posted on this page with a new date.

This website

glowpane.app sets no cookies, runs no scripts and loads nothing from other sites. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses only to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
